At every Mid-Autumn Festival, we will look up and admire the bright moon. The full moon reminds us of reunion, completeness, as well as the vicissitudes of life. Like the waxing and waning moon, we experience both joys and sorrows, and encounter setbacks and victories in life.

Although the light of the moon is bright, it is not its own light, it only reflects the light of the sun. Just like our life, it seems bright, but in fact, many times it also needs a real light to illuminate it. As "Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12) 

Just as the moon needs the light of the sun, our lives also need the light of Jesus, so that our lives are no longer dark, but filled with hope and joy.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, let us not only appreciate the moon, but we are honored to have Pastor Simon Neo from the Singapore Breakthrough Mission to share with us the topic: "From Moonlight to the Light of Life." Breakthrough Mission is a Christian organization dedicated to evangelism and community service, focusing mainly on life restoration, transformation of addicts, and their social integration - having a profound impact on ex-offenders. It helps many people to regain hope and find their way back home (see Luke 15:20).
