Pastor Richard Ong:

Pastor Richard Ong has been in the Lord's service since 1987. During this time, he has pastored four different churches. He has also served as missionary-pastor with Bethany Church in Cebu city, Philippines, for two years.

As pastor-evangelist, his great passion is to see the church equipped and mobilized to share the gospel of Christ to a lost and needy world. He does this by preaching and training the believers to do personal and church-wide evangelism.

Presently, he is serving God's people at Cherith Baptist Church. As Co-ordinating pastor, his responsibility is to oversee the pastoral care and growth of both the Chinese and English congregations.

He is a graduate of Singapore Bible College (B.TH) and Baptist Theological Seminary (M.DIV). He is chairman of the Baptist Pastors' and Co-workers Fellowship which meets once a month.

He is married to Moi Tiang. They have two children, Samuel and Sarah.
